RECOMMENDATIONS/ CONCLUSIONS

As detailed in the six main points, the main problems I can see with this scheme is the lack of advance notice for the travelling public. My site visit was obviously conducted on a clear summer morning without the added dangers of the winter months. As this particular project is operational for up to 3 years, the investment in the haul route roads is second to none. The same, I will suggest, will be needed for the crossings to enable the safe movement of plant and materials across the public roads.  On a final note re the A515, I cannot stress enough the concerns that I have with this particular haul route.
